The Battipav Expert 700 is an industrial-grade block cutting saw manufactured in Italy, specifically engineered for processing dense masonry and natural stone. Equipped with a 4 kW (5.5 HP) electric motor operating on a 400V 3-phase power supply (8 A), it provides the mechanical torque required to drive Ø 700 mm (28-inch) diamond blades at rotation speeds of 1400 / 1700 rpm. This structural configuration allows for a maximum straight cutting length of 550 mm and a cutting depth of 270 mm in a single pass. For thicker materials, the depth can be extended to 340 mm over two runs by turning the block. The motor is programmed for an S6 40% continuous duty cycle, alternating between 4 minutes of load and 6 minutes of idling, which regulates internal temperatures during heavy site operations.

The 100 kg machine is constructed using an aluminum monocoque frame paired with a die-cast aluminum cutting head to maintain rigid alignment and completely eliminate blade vibration. Material feeding is executed through a manual sliding working table and an adjustable goniometer fence for exact angle positioning. To prevent mechanical damage, a dual-layer thermal safety switch is integrated, cutting the power supply instantly if the motor coil reaches 160°C. The cutting process is supported by the AxT water-cooling system, utilizing a submersible S3 pump that draws from a 32-liter capacity tank. This system works in conjunction with the W-Dec water-decanting tray to prevent sludge buildup, ensuring continuous blade cooling and the effective suppression of airborne dust.
